Divetech has been providing quality dive services to divers visiting Grand Cayman since 1994. We are very excited about the opening of our brand new shore diving site at Lighthouse Point on NW Point Road in West Bay, about a 1/2 mile south of our old Turtle Reef shop, which we moved from and no longer operate effective Aug 31, 2007.

Shore diving is open with many amenities and an awesome reef system just minutes off shore. The reef system is abundant with marine life, sponges and coral reefs and is well marked for divers navigation. All divers are welcome to come and visit the site for snorkeling or shore diving.

This dive site is also Historical Shipwreck Site # GC 33, a designated marine archaeological site including artifacts such as 2 anchors (one has been dated between 1815 - 1850's), mining cart wheels, ballast rocks and many more artifacts. We ask all divers to not touch or disturb any artifacts but rather leave them for future generations to see and enjoy the culture heritage of the marine environment in Grand Cayman.

CHECK-IN DIVES - Our shore dives make great check-in dives when you arrive on the island. On all of our dive & room packages with Cobalt Coast Dive Resort, we provide a complimentary tank and weights for your arrival day - to get things sorted & your weights arranged, so fly in early! With easy access and gently sloping bottom to the mini-walls, divers can check out their gear, weight, and fine-tune their performance to make the rest of the dive trip an enjoyable experience!

GUIDED MINI-WALL and DEEP WALL DIVES! Daily guided dives are taken to the 60' mini wall or to the deep wall at Lighthouse Point Dive or at Cobalt Coast Dive Resort. Guided dives are run by our experienced staff of Instructors to show you all of the best spots and marine life on the reef. Visit the new site at Lighthouse Point to see some of the most prolific marine life on the island.

UNGUIDED SHORE DIVES - are open daily, just come on up with a buddy and you can shore dive as you like. You'll find comfy setup benches, showers, restroom, air/nitrox tanks, weights or any dive equipment rental needed, cold fresh bottled water (complimentary) and easy access to the marine environment. Divers and snorklers are welcomed.

NIGHT & WALL DIVES - Join us for a great night dive - every Monday or Thursday night with an experienced guide. Enjoy the abundance of octopus, lobsters and eels out to play at night. Summertime check-in is at 6:30pm, wintertime check-in is 6:00pm. Maximum 8 divers in a group. Or course, you can dive at night any time you like - as buddy teams! Guided night dives include rental dive lights too!

UNLIMITED SHORE DIVING! Join Divetech for 3 days or more on a dive package, and your shore diving at both locations is included FREE on the same day as boat diving trips. You'll have unlimited access to air tanks and weights, and you can take advantage of both the deep and the mini-wall at any time. You won't get tired of diving these reefs! Nitrox tanks are available for an up-charge.

Lighthouse Point has an extremely healthy reef and the abundance of marine life is astounding! Shore diving is open, with all the outdoor amenities that you have come to expect from Divetech. The site features a mini-wall from 30 - 60 feet just minutes from shore, and access to the deep wall only 10 minutes off shore. Multiple wave notches, chutes, overhangs and pinnacles make for interesting topography for diving. An old anchor, dated between 150 - 200 years old can be found in the shallows in 15 feet of water.

The natural beauty of both the sea and the iron shore has been left intact and features a 40 foot dock for Divetech customers and owners use.
